Your Concert Experience

posted in: News

Those of you who have tickets to the concert by the Carr-Petrova Duo at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium on Friday, February 23, at 7:30 p.m. possess an entrée to an experience that is special on so many levels.

You will be able to enjoy the prodigious talents of two wonderful musicians from New York City, the heart of North America’s classical music scene.

You will hear a carefully curated program of music that is not only beautiful but reveals the incredible talents of female composers who have been unfairly neglected far too long.

You will hear the first ever concert in our series with the viola and its resonant tones as the featured instrument.

You will encounter two women who have made significant contributions that have brought joy and healing to many disadvantaged people around the world.

You can see the program online right now by clicking on the link. At the concert you will receive an abbreviated program. For the biographies and program notes, you will need to check the online version.
