Why Support The Valley Concert Society
The Valley Concert Society was founded in 1983 with the purpose of advancing musical culture in the Fraser Valley by arranging concerts, recitals, workshops and other musical events for the benefit of the general public and by furthering the musical education of the younger members of the community.
The society has presented concerts by outstanding musicians from British Columbia, Canada and the world. It has offered masterclasses for music students with some of our professional performers and has provided bursaries for committed and talented music
students.
The primary sources of funding to support the activities of the society are ticket and subscription sales and donations from the public.
We sincerely appreciate the generosity of the many who have supported the operation of The Valley Concert Society over the years.
