Coming in 2026

We at the Valley Concert Society are committed to bringing you the very best that we can find in classical music. You, our warm, engaged, and enthusiastic audience, help to make each concert a moving and inspirational experience.

We encourage you to help us share these great programs with more of our neighbours in the Fraser Valley. One way is to invite people you know who enjoy good music to come to a concert with you. A good entrée could be a Christmas gift of tickets to a concert. Here is what we are looking forward to.

On Thursday, January 22, Buzz Brass is coming. This talented and entertaining quintet from Quebec will perform a varied program. This is perfect for the high school band student you know. Tickets for students are a very affordable $20.

Piano students and fans of piano music must not miss the remarkable young Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, a rising talent from Nottingham, England, on Friday, February 20. Besides the works of Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin, she will present the music of two black composers, William Grant Still and Florence Price.

The incomparable soprano Suzie LeBlanc was recently inducted into the In Concert Hall of Fame. On Friday, March 27, she will bring three of Canada’s finest Baroque musicians to join her in performing music that ranges from John Dowland and Henry Purcell to Acadian folk songs and Pink Floyd.

The Cheng2 Duo consisting of siblings Bryan, cello, and Silvie, piano, amazed us here in 2019. We are bringing them back to close our season on Friday, April 24, along with the great clarinetist James Campbell.

We can’t wait to share these exciting performances with you. Tickets are available online at www.valleyconcertsociety.com at $32 for adults and $20 for students. For more information, call 604-289-3377.
