Canadian Guitar Quartet

The Valley Concert Society is looking forward to the long-awaited return visit of the Canadian
Guitar Quartet at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium on Friday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m.

The group enjoyed an enthusiastic reception from the near-capacity audience when they first
performed here in January of 2017. Virtuosic musical performances combined with an engaging
stage presence have made them popular across the country.

The Canadian Guitar Quartet formed in 1999 with a strong connection to the School of Music at
the University of Ottawa. Louis Trépanier, the Coordinator of the Guitar Sector there, is the only
founding member still with the quartet. His sensitive artistry and wry sense of humour have
made him the heart of the ensemble. The program will open with his arrangement of a spirited
sonata by Mozart.

Tickets for this concert are available online at www.valleyconcertsociety.com at $28 for adults
and $15 for students. Whatever provincial health orders apply at the time of the concert will be
observed.

I look forward to seeing you at the concert.
